Who Provides Your Care and Medical Treatment?

An Emergency Physician
Your physician will have the overall responsibility for your care. Our physicians are board certified in emergency care. A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant may also participate in your care.

A Nurse (RN)
Your nurse will assess and monitor your physical condition, give you your medication and keep you and your family informed of tests and procedures. Our nurses are certified in Trauma Nurse Core Course, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Each nurse is responsible for several patients and works very closely with your doctor to provide the best care possible.

Other team members
Your care team may also include Emergency Department technicians, clerical staff, and volunteers.
